Matt worked in the golf and turf industry for 10 years working for companies such as Baileys Fertilisers, CJD Equipment (John Deere Golf & Turf) and Nuturf before joining the Town of Cambridge in 2002 as the first dedicated manager of Wembley Golf Course.
From 2002 to 2017 Wembley Golf Course went through a significant staged transformation process with $29 million invested to upgrade the irrigation system and construct a new driving range, pro shop, cart shed, mini golf as well as new restaurant and conference facilities. As one of the busiest public golf facilities in Australia, Wembley Golf Course is now a hub of community activity.
After a short stint in private club management Matt joined the Clublinks team in February 2018 to manage the Collier Park Golf Course in partnership with the City of South Perth
